This year's Solar Open House Tour promises to be the best one yet with something for — and near — everyone. Not only are we featuring 16 open houses in and around the city of Pittsburgh, but we also have stops in Cranberry, Washington, Westmoreland, Beaver, and Fayette Counties.

Homeowners will greet visitors and give house tours from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 13.

ASES National Solar Tour

You'll find something spectacular around every corner — from the greatest new modern green homes and facilities to Pittsburgh classics that have undergone green renovations. Backyard solar farms and farms that use solar to power nearly everything.

So join us for this self-guided tour; stop by as few or as many locations as you'd like. Let the owners share their experiences with you. Ask a million questions! Win prizes!

You must purchase a Solar Tour Ticket and present it at each tour location. Thanks to overwhelming support from our many sponsors, tickets are now only $5 (free for PennFuture members)!

Register for the tour and join the fun. Upon registration you will receive access to an interactive Google map and Solar Tour Guidebook for your area. And, new for 2012, you will get access to great info through our Guidebook App so you can follow all the action on your smart phone on the day of the tour.
