Why we need to meet now
The Environmental Protection Agency has developed rules to regulate mercury emissions, increase the average miles per gallon for cars and light trucks, and cut industrial carbon emissions from new power plants. In other words, the EPA is doing what Congress will not do — reducing industrial carbon pollution that is responsible for causing climate change.

Although some of our fellow citizens are in denial about the changing climate, there are no deniers in the natural world.

Ed Perry of the National Wildlife Federation Climate Change Campaign will discuss EPA's rules, how climate change is already affecting the natural world, and what actions we can take to make a difference.
