The Sunshine Team is moving to the next phase of work to streamline solar zoning, permitting, and inspection processes across the 23 municipalities that are participating in the US Department of Energy Rooftop Solar Challenge. It is important that you or a designee(s) from your municipality attend one of the following meetings on May 15 or May 16. Your input during this meeting is crucial.

• Existing case studies and best practices for zoning and permitting for solar;
• The initial findings of the technical advisory committee.
